Weekend Yoga Instructor Training

October 30th, 2017

Get certified in 7 weekends.

If you have wondered how to become a yoga instructor in spite of your busy schedule, our weekend training may be right for you. Our weekend program takes place one or two weekends a month for six months, beginning in February and ending in July. We design the yoga instructor training schedule to make it accessible to people with both set and flexible work schedules. Should the situation arise, we can arrange “make-up” hours to ensure you complete the curriculum.

2018 dates for 200 hour: Feb 16-18, March 16-18, April 6-8, April 27-29, May 18-20, June 22-24, July 19-22.

2017 dates for 300 hour: January 27-31 and September 28-October 2

Live on the grounds of a sacred ashram.

The option to lodge at Kashi Ashram is always available, making your program into a weekend retreat. You are welcome to enjoy the temples and common areas on the ashram, and get a deep sense of what it feels like to live in a spiritual community. Delicious vegetarian meals are provided for both commuters and residential students, and housing is available in shared or dormitory style-rooms.

Learn both at Kashi and at home.

As a participant in the weekend yoga instructor training, you can do your non-contact hours at home, with a suggested daily practice and home study of the extensive program materials. This helps you integrate what you are learning in the yoga instructor training. Either way you choose to complete the program, you will meet the standards for yoga instructor certification.
