Mukunda Tom Stiles, Director of the Yoga Therapy Center, To Give Weekend Workshop at Kashi in Sebastian April 24-25th

Mukunda Tom Stiles, director of the Yoga Therapy Center in Boulder, CO will be giving a weekend workshop, entitled “Structural Therapy Yoga” at Kashi on April 24-25th. Mr. Stiles has been involved in yoga since 1969, training under BKS Iyengar as well as many other well-known teachers. In 1976 he created Structural Yoga Therapy and is author of a book by the same name as well as a poetic rendering of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali that gained the praises of Iyengar, Baba Hari Dass, and Vedic scholar David Frawley. Since 1978 he has given numerous courses in Structural and Ayurvedic Yoga for teachers and therapists.

The Structural Yoga Therapy Workshop is a systematic approach to self-analysis and body-based therapy that is personally adapted to each individual. It consists of studies of anatomy of yoga asanas, joint freeing exercises to liberate the flow of prana and a series of 24 poses that restore natural mobility.
