Sacred Kashi Weekend Retreats

Treat yourself to a Weekend Retreat at an Ashram

Whether you are curious about what life on an ashram is like, or need some quiet downtime relaxing in a tranquil healing environment, or are returning to the sacred grounds of Kashi Ashram to fill up again after a hectic week, you are welcome to spend a weekend at Kashi!

What you should know about visiting an ashram

Kashi is a sacred place where, like a monastery or convent, residents – and guests – are asked to observe some simple austerities that support the inward process of spiritual development.

As such, only vegetarian food is served (not 100% vegan). There is no alcohol, smoking, illegal drugs or weapons of any kind permitted. Celibacy is encouraged while on the property.

Modesty is encouraged, so we request appropriate and modest dress for everyone when attending satsang and pujas. This means

Sacred Kashi Weekend Retreats provide a range of more than 15 optional activities to choose from, as well as some downtime. The weekend schedule provides a range of introductory spiritual practices and experiences of the daily routine of the ashram. You can choose to participate in meditation, yoga classes, temple tours, satsang and many other activities. Some weekends there are health-related workshops and other spiritual ritual events that you can take part in as well.

If you prefer some quiet solitude, there are footpaths around the beautiful 80-acre property, including two boardwalks that lead down to the St. Sebastian River.
