Puja Sponsorship Program

“Puja is a moving prayer.” Ma Jaya

About Kashi Pujas

Pujas and prayers have been offered at Kashi since it was founded in 1976. Pujas are held throughout the year, often as a celebration of a holy person’s birthday or to honor a particular god or goddess. The ceremonies are full of rich symbology, color and sound. Weather permitting, they are usually held outside, mostly at the Baba Temple. Everyone is welcome.

About Puja Sponsorship

Our Puja Sponsorship Program offers a unique opportunity to support and be a part of Kashi Ashram’s ongoing pujas and prayers. Sponsors may choose to dedicate a specific intention or prayer for the Puja and do not have to be present to participate. There are three sponsorship levels available to choose from. To sponsor a specific puja see the Kashi Annual Pujas page for descriptions and check the Kashi calendar for specific dates (they vary from year to year).

Bhakti Sponsorship: $108

Meaning devotion or spirituality, Bhakti level sponsors will have the opportunity to be involved in making the garlands for the puja. You will be honored for your sponsorship at the Puja Welcome.

Shanti Sponsorship: $500

Meaning peace or harmony, Shanti level sponsors will be given a gift of a 3 bead rudraksha necklace which will be presented at the Puja ceremony. You will be honored for your sponsorship at the Puja Welcome, in the Puja Program, and at the Prasad venue.

Ganesh Sponsorship: $1,008

Having the quality of prosperity and removing obstacles, Ganesh level sponsors will have the opportunity to offer your personal prayers during the Puja by placing ceremonial seed into the fire. A gift of a 3 bead rudraksha necklace will be presented at the puja ceremony. You will also be honored for your sponorship at the puja welcome, in the puja program, and at the prasad venue. You will receive a photo keepsake.
