Yoga - Living Fully in the Moment
You are Already Liberated
Your True Self

YOU ARE ALREADY LIBERATED

When you think about liberation, most of you think of heaven instead of Earth. Liberation does not happen in the heavens at all; liberation happens here on Earth, to ordinary people who are not ordinary at all. This uniqueness is about those who have become one with God and yet are just like everyone else. God is in every moment.

To become liberated, you must be in God’s moment. Everyone is part of infinity, liberated or not. In truth, everyone is liberated. The freedom of it all is hidden behind clouds of illusion. As you meditate more and more, there will be a greater desire to put the meditation to work in your life. You will become more active and less tired of it all. This is why passion is so important in the life of everyone on the path.

Humility is the key to liberation. One must have an open heart in order to reach liberation. An open heart is necessary just to live. The holy ones do not live for their own liberation; they live for the liberation of themselves and others. To attain your dream of liberation, you need to know that you are already liberated. You only have to remove the clouds of illusion away from the core of love that you are and always have been. The Beloved sees this core and teaches you all how to see it with your own eyes, knowing how important you all are in the scheme of all things in this and all moments to come.

Self-knowledge is the seeker’s boon to liberation. No one is higher and no one is lower. Service brings the equality of all beings, both those being served and those who are serving. The lower mind attaches itself to all things personal and of the world. The higher mind knows that attachment is possessiveness and not love. The freedom of detachment comes to the seeker in the form of liberation.

Some call the shade of a tree a way to get out of the sun. Some call the shade of a tree a way to see the sun shine through the branches, dancing upon Earth. This is the path of liberation; seeing the dance and appreciating it fully. The brief years that we have in our bodies need to be fully appreciated.

Practice being grateful a little bit each day, and do kind deeds for others without selfish desires. You will attain liberation in the course of time.
