THE SOUL

What is the soul? What connection do our bodily movements, or even the heartbeat of our beings, have to do with the soul?

The soul is the expression of all that ever was, all that is, and all that will be. To understand your own soul is to be quiet and very still. It is in the stillness that the ego mind will object and rise to the throat, burning and trying to take your mind from the silence into the loudness of chaos. It is the ego mind that takes you into the chaos of the world, the chaos of grief, and the chaos of stress and anxiety.

If you jump into chaos, it will go on and on. The way you jump into it is by defending yourself. Why would you want to defend yourself? Right or wrong, whoever hurts another being is wrong. That needs to be consumed. When you feel like you are going to react, look at your fear and anger. Take a breath – breathe in, breathe out – hesitate. Even when you want to get back at somebody, take a breath – hesitate. The soul ticks away, not with time; it ticks against the clouds of human beings’ chaotic moments upon Earth, where they walk without thinking where their next footsteps are going.

There’s not even the beginning of a gender or a preference or an orientation; there is just a perfect soul. Sometimes that perfect soul does not fit into an imperfect body. You have to love yourself to make the soul customized for your being. Love who you are, what you are, and where you came from; you are perfect, in your imperfection. Demand silence. Sit in your truth, with no judgment whatsoever; create your own destiny. The soul has no gender, yet once we take form there is a gender - and each one of us has both male and female qualities. The soul knows its potential. The soul knows its own completeness, knows its own joy, and knows that it is absolute bliss. The potential is inside this voyage, this journey of the soul. It is the flesh that doesn’t realize the soul’s purpose.

Can the body achieve the soul’s purpose? The soul gives an indication, however small or large it may be, that the body can do it; the flesh can do it. Where does the mind fit into this? Where does the mind go? The mind intertwines with the ego, the mind marries the ego, and this child of mind and ego is incompleteness. The incomplete mind, the father of incompleteness, is hindering the flesh. So you have the soul and you have the flesh. How can you connect them? Finish what you start. Wherever you are, give your all. Finish, don’t waste a second and don’t waste a life.

Deep within our souls is the feminine fire of humankind. We energize the feminine fire by being on a spiritual path of service to others. Creative growth comes from the feminine and the supreme surrender to She who is within. What is this divine mystery? It is simply to see everything in everyone. Live this moment without limitations. See all the different aspects of what is divinity. Enter into the arena of the heart, even if you do not feel you are open. Your life force must be used to enforce your own goodness instead of that which stifles you. Give yourself a chance to feel your commitment to be on the path that will take you to yourself. This is called the path of the highest surrender. There are so many ways to feel the power of God this moment, simply by watching your breath.
