DUALITY AND NON-DUALITY

Let us all undertake the quest for our true self, that Being who can leave duality behind. It is only duality that keeps pain alive and thriving, and this is the way of the lower ego.

When you begin to label yourself as worldly or spiritual, there becomes a division in you; this causes duality. Due to this duality, it is difficult to go further in your spirituality. Any essence that consists of more than one is duality.

Procrastination is the living proof of duality and indecision; indecision is the connecting karma of the Karmic Space of Intent. The Karmic Spaces cater to the force of duality. Learning of the Karmic Spaces, especially how to recognize them and how to get out of them, brings one to the understanding of the Vedas - where there is only the Oneness.

One of the keys of entering into the freedom of non-duality is constantly turning to your Beloved. The duality of life is taken away by the simple bowing to Mother Earth and all Her beauty. Feel freedom come into you as you learn to hesitate before you react to any kind of duality, your own and others. Spiritual confidence can be the lamp of love that can lead you out of duality. Confidence is not the arrogance of pride.

Practice listening to your Beloved’s voice before you take a step toward any of the Karmic Spaces. It is almost a silent alert that screams out to you. You can say “Not now ego;” only add the words, “I am listening to the Divine.” The listening heart becomes the ears of the soul and is intoxicated by your Beloved’s voice. This rips apart the veils and walls of duality. Watch all fear disappear with the melting of duality. The idea that there is no duality is the way of the path to the Oneness.

It is the quiet awakening at the feet of the Beloved that lets the students pass into this place of non-duality.
