KINDNESS IINo one’s way is the right way, and yet every way of kindness is the right way, regardless of religion or no religion, path or no path. It does not matter whom you worship, as long as you are kind and caring to all people. This makes you the taster of the nectar - the empty vessel, not the doer - the emptiness in which the god and goddess of your heart do their work.
This Interfaith Teaching is not a religion, unless one wants to call kindness a religion. Respect for everyone’s religion can bring matter and spirit together in the moment. One must understand that the fundamental substance of the world is love - love for one self and as well as for others. When the heart is in sharp focus and the soul allowed to be free, then what is relevant about the different religions? This culture of Interfaith waters the seeds of all that is kind and good. As long as you are kind and aware of others, you grow toward the goals of your own religion or spirituality.
There is no division in tantric kindness. There is no thought, just the flowing sensation; and you quickly float with the sacred Ganga and a deep acceptance of all things happening in the moment. There is no time or space in the Ganga’s flowing waters. Subtle impressions of holiness last us lifetimes in our souls as we go from body to body. All that we know is stored in the deep unconscious heart, waiting to be awakened to the truth of love and kindness. Service is the worship of kindness toward others. To do service and spiritual work and to practice kindness is to help all of humanity.
You need only to learn how to be even more kind in order to have the present bars of the prison of the ego’s confinement break down and free the soul. Add to your life gratitude and the wisdom of simply being kind, and you will find many doors open (and a deep strength) for you to walk through.
Be simple this day. Be kind to the animals who are quite beautiful
and divine; be kind to everyone and be jealous of no one. We are all
what we are because God made us so; we can share our differences with
each other and learn and enjoy each other’s beauty. Ma Jaya
