THE LADY ON THE BEACH

Kindness is everything.
Kindness can lead you to the Mother.

I just heard a story of a young man jogging on the beach each day and seeing an old woman picking up seashells and putting them in a brown paper bag. This had gone on for many months. They just nodded to each other as he jogged past her.

Then, one day, the young man stopped and asked, “What kind of seashells are you looking for?”

“Young man,” the woman said, “I am not picking up seashells. I am picking up pieces of glass, so when the people come out of the ocean they will not get cut and ruin their vacations. Why should people be sad, when I can pick up the glass and save them pain?”

The young man did not answer the old lady. He was so taken aback by her deeds and words. Needless to say, his whole outlook on life was changed forever. One kind, thankless act, which would go unnoticed, will live in this young man’s heart for a long time. You never know who is watching. For sure God is. Being kind keeps your life flowing and your mind and heart alert.
