Yoga Alliance Teacher Training
Kashi School of Yoga is Yoga Alliance registered.
Yoga Alliance® is the national education and support organization for Yoga in the United States and offers certification to those who meet its standards. Every Yoga Alliance teacher training program follows a set curriculum designed to provide high quality instruction in five categories: Technique Training, Teaching Methodology, Anatomy, Yoga Philosophy, and Practicum. In 1999, Yoga Alliance established a national Yoga Teachers’ Registry to recognize and promote teachers whose training meets Yoga Alliance standards.

Yoga Alliance also maintains a registry of schools offering yoga teacher training programs that meet their 200-Hour and 500-Hour standards. Yoga Alliance teacher training guidelines also specify numbers of required contact and non-contact hours for both programs.
Our curriculum exceeds the standards.
Kashi School of Yoga is a Registered Yoga School (RYS®) and offers a curriculum that exceeds these minimum training standards. Kashi School of Yoga awards its graduates at the 200 hour level a certificate of completion which acknowledges that the student has met the Yoga Alliance standards. With this certificate, graduates are automatically eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT).
Students who successfully complete the 500 hour program can be certified as “Experienced Registered Yoga Teachers,” or ERYT. Besides initial certification, Kashi School of Yoga also offers programs that meet Yoga Alliance continuing education standards.
