Christine Lines will share her experience of living in the Findhorn Community in the far north of Scotland and her passion for networking between centers.

She first heard about Kashi two years ago when she met Durga Das at the annual Holistic Centers Gathering. She is staying at Kashi for two months and loves sharing ideas and inspiration, as she deepens into the richness of being here.

Long time satsang member Dan Clark / Dhamodara will lead us through the Ashtavakra Gita, a lyrical discussion of reality and the soul.  He'll use the translation by long-time Kashi resident Dr. Thomas (Billy) Byrom. Ma once said that Baba told her the Ashtavakra is the highest scripture ever written. 

Dan/Dhamodara was instrumental in the founding years of the ISKON Krishna Consciousness community. He has a wealth of knowledge and understanding which he shares generously with a sparkling wit! An evening to enjoy!

The fire puja is celebrating the night of Lord Shiva. 6:30-7:30 pm. 

Join us for the experience of a fire puja, or hawan, an ancient Hindu ceremony used for purification and cleansing. At Kashi we have fire pujas throughout the year, often as a celebration of a holy person’s birthday or to honor a particular god or goddess. The ceremonies are full of rich symbology, color and sound.
