Meditation is being touted as a very effective method to reduce stress & anxiety. Not sure where or how to start? You will be introduced to seated positions for meditation along with simple yoga poses to prepare you for sitting. Then we will explore & practice using a variety of mantras (words) so you can see what might resonate with you, your heart & your mind. Then we will add using a mala (string of beads) that you can incorporate with the mantras. It's easy & straightforward.
Please bring a mala or a rosary if you have one. Get ready to experience the stillness of your mind & begin the journey of meditation!
