Kali Natha Yoga

Kali Natha Yoga, as taught by Ma Jaya, is the mystical flow of the Divine Feminine.  This yoga is for everyone  - it is movement with awareness and prayer in motion.  You are able to access the deep quiet of your open heart.

Kali Natha Yoga takes its name from Mother Kali, the compassionate Mother, and the Nathas who are the ancient yogis. The Divine feminine principle of shakti is activated.

Kali Natha Yoga utilizes many of the yogic tools including asana, mantra, mudra, pranayama and meditation. Feel the mind, body and soul come into alignment. The practice fills you with the joy of your connection to Mother Earth and to your own spirituality.

Passion for life

Kali Natha Yoga is truly a yoga of your “intent”. Intent can be translated as the desire to go deeper into your practice and your passion for life. This yoga is extremely accessible and can be practiced by anyone, at any age and in any physical condition.

Asanas

Although Ma Jaya always shared yoga with her students, in 2001 she began teaching Kali Natha Yoga asana flow series. These focus on a specific deity, on Mother Earth or on a spiritual aspect - for example, The Ganapati Asana (Ganesh).  The practitioner embodies this essence and carries it with them, on and off the mat.
