Beginning with meditation on Friday afternoon and ending with yoga on Sunday morning, there are more than 15 optional activities to choose from as an introduction to ashram life. Or if solitude is what you need, you can explore the footpaths around the 80 acre property and go down to the St Sebastian River.

breath & SOUND

Pranayam, or the practice of breath control, is an ancient art that is incorporated into all Kali Natha Yoga asanas. A great resource to add to your daily practice is Ma Jaya's book, First Breath Last Breath. Mantra and kirtan are also great yogic tools using the vibration of sound. Don't miss our monthly Friday kirtan evenings!

In this module we'll be exploring methods of putting some important tools together using the patterns found in nature: Appropriate Technology, Earth Works, Broad scale, Stacking Functions, Functional analysis, and Site analysis.


Farm to table dinners

Keep an eye on our calendar for seasonal scheduled farm to table dinners! Prepared with produce either grown at Kashi or from a local supplier, these dinners are a feast for the eye as well as the body! 

Social Permaculture with Rob Greenfield and Terry Meer (#4)

May 3-5, 2019

In this module we will look into using permaculture in financial social models such as intentional communities and savings pools. We will also be learning about Zone 5 by going on a kayak adventure. Projects for our certification graduates will then be assigned.

In addition to Kashi’s own workshops and trainings, we are pleased to offer our facilities and resources to other groups and organizations seeking a retreat space to host their own programs. Kashi’s studio spaces are in a beautifully secluded part of the property and are particularly suitable for meditation, yoga, wellness and contemplative retreats. Kashi’s campus offers the richness of Mother Nature and an inclusive community that respects all faith traditions and walks of life. Kashi staff do their utmost to provide concierge service to ensure your group is well taken care from beginning to end of your stay. 



Enjoy our studio space, located under serene Australian pines. Beautifully lit with natural sunlight, in a quiet and private part of the property. 

Kashi offers two adjacent indoor spaces, the larger of which accommodates up to 75 people and includes two bathrooms. Download fact sheet here.



We have accommodations for up to 45 people on site in dorm (20) and a selection of semi-private and private rooms. Camping is also available. 



Our kitchen provides three delicious and healthy vegetarian meals per day for your groups, prepared by Kashi’s resident chef, Swami Rudra Das.
