Kashi is a sacred place where, like a monastery or convent, residents - and guests - are asked to observe some simple austerities that support the inward process of spiritual development.
As such, only vegetarian food is served (not 100% vegan). There is no alcohol, smoking, illegal drugs or weapons of any kind permitted. Celibacy is encouraged while on the property.
Modesty is encouraged so when attending satsang and pujas, we request appropriate and modest dress. This means shirts with sleeves (no tank tops), pants (no shorts) or longer skirts (no minis).
Please do NOT bring pets however small or friendly they may be (registered service dogs excepted) without prior consent from administration.
